Happy November! It’s hard to believe it is already here, but Thanksgiving is right around the corner! As busy as we have been around here I am tempted to have frozen pizza at our Thanksgiving table this year. It’s doubtful that will happen, as easy as it sounds I think we will plan a pot luck style dinner with some friends instead. I love that kind of thing, especially being so far away from any family, I appreciate my good friends even more around the holidays. Whether you are planning on being the bearer of the cooking load, or sharing the fun with friends these festive little pretzels make a fun and delicious snack to have around throughout the holidays. They come together super quick, but you will be glad you have them around when hungry hands start getting eager to eat. I’m excited to share some of my holiday favorites with you over the next several weeks, in the meantime, what are your holiday table plans looking like?

Pumpkin Spice Pretzels with Chocolate Drizzle  (Print Me)

Ingredients:
1 (16oz) bag bite-sized pretzels
1/2 cup canola oil
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup white/dark chocolate chips (I made half white half dark)
Sprinkles (optional)

Directions:
Set aside two large baking sheets. Pour pretzels into a large microwave-safe bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, 1/3 cup sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined. Drizzle mixture over pretzels and toss to coat.

Microwave the pretzels for 60 seconds. Stir well and microwave again for another 45 seconds. Meanwhile, mix together the cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar in a small bowl until well combined. Pour the pretzels out onto two large baking sheets. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar while still hot.

Melt the chocolate then drizzle it over the pretzels. Add sprinkles, if using.

Allow white chocolate to set and cool completely. Break apart and store in bags or airtight containers.
