I’ve never understood people that say “I’m not a breakfast person”. I have always been a ‘breakfast person’. In fact, it’s one of my favorite meals, but cooking more than a couple eggs is a little more effort than I want to put in most mornings. I need something fast and healthy that will keep my tummy from rumbling until lunch; this just happens to fit the bill. You throw all the ingredients in a jar the night before, throw it in the refrigerator and wake up to a breakfast ready to eat. Like I usually say, this recipe is just a base for what you like; put in whatever fruit, nuts, and other goodies that you like, this recipe is so versatile. You can also adjust the milk amounts and types to how thick or thin you like your oatmeal and your dietary restrictions. This is packed full of good for you stuff and is an awesome way to start your day (or a great lunch if, say, you forget you made this and cook yourself breakfast before you remember). Enjoy!
